About Wei Yao
Hello, I'm Ling! Ever since I could remember, I've always loved stories, whether it was books, cartoons, or shows. When I was in secondary school, I finally decided to pick up the pen, and penned my first little story in a cute notebook.
To this day, I'm still writing and discovering stories. It isn't just from fiction either - I also love talking to people and learning about their backgrounds and aspirations. What you can learn may surprise and perhaps even inspire you!
With that being said, I've met many people who have lots of creative ideas in their heads but weren't able to give it shape, or simply weren't sure how to. Which is why, to bridge this gap, I'm here to share some tips, and provide some guidance for you to write your own story, whether it's meant for yourself, your family, friends or the world.

Language is medium of expression. Through words, one can immerse the other in their own world, and that is how stories work. There are many ways to go about stories as well - stories are a form of art, and art can take many shapes. In my story writing lessons, I will share with you the basics of writing your own stories from scratch (eg. worldbuilding, character creation, plotting) and guide you to discover your own writing style.
A lesson can span 1 hour to 2 hours. Flexibility and breaks are encouraged to hone a creative mind.
My story writing lessons are meant for people aged 16 - 30 who are fluent in English.
