About James
I'm James McCamphill, a personal trainer and strength coach based in Wolverhampton with over 15 years in the fitness industry and more than 500 clients coached.
But I didn't always have it figured out. I was once 3 stone heavier, frustrated, and trying everything without getting results. That experience — and the year-long journey it took to fully transform my physique — is what drives everything I do now. I know what it feels like to be stuck, and I know exactly what it takes to get unstuck.
I work almost exclusively with busy professional men aged 30–60 who want to lose fat, build real strength, and finally feel in control of their body — without it taking over their life. No crash diets, no two-hour gym sessions, no guesswork.
Over the years I've coached men through everything from shifting the first stone to completely rebuilding their physique from the ground up. In-person, online, or a mix of both — I build the programme around your life, not the other way around.
Outside of coaching, I'm passionate about strength training, I'm based in Wolverhampton, and I train clients out of locations including Perton Golf Club.
