About Miglena
I have experience teaching computer literacy and mathematics. I have taught math in public schools and also through the Russian School of Math. I love seeing the ties between math and computer programming and using this to bridge student understanding.

I focus on understanding the barriers each student is facing, work to show the student that they can understand mathematical concepts and then work on practicing until the student is confident that they can master the problems they are working on. Math builds on itself so often a student is stuck because a basic concept was not understood and internalized.
