The central aim of education is to prepare students and position them to solve real life problems through innovative solutions; and this is best achieved through experiential education. One thing that stands out from Engr. Adeshina is his technical skill in promoting student engagement through innovative high impact practices. His suitability and ability to cope with different students' preferences in various engineering divisions and applying real world experiences in those areas is outstanding.

My first experience with Engr. Adeshina experiential education was when I had his class on Civil Engineering Systems. He made sure he understood every student’s education background, interest and expected learning outcomes from the course. I am certain this helped him in knowing how to go about his style of delivery and learning applications for various students while not drifting away from the overall course objectives. Furthermore, while undertaking his course on Hydraulics and Hydrology Engineering, I very much enjoyed his style of delivery; his teaching method and technique is easy to understand and inclusive of all. Engr. Adeshina carries the class along in ensuring everyone follows and gets a good grasp of the course. He creates an enabling environment for learning opportunities through applied projects happening in the university or across the country. Also, the projects help different students with different backgrounds to come together to solve real life problems simply by applying the theoretical concepts taught in class, hence, promoting student engagement.

It is not just his excellence in high impact learning that stands out, however, my overall experience with Engr. Adeshina has been positive. He has strong communication and interpersonal skills, good leadership skills and most importantly inclusive of all irrespective of one’s nationality, color or background. He is dedicated, committed, punctual and well organized.
