About Lalini
I am an experienced teacher with 25 years of experience, teaching in primary mainly across upper key stage 2 with years on experience in SATs preparation for both key stage 1 and key stage 2. I also have over a decade experience tutoring Maths and English up to GCSE and preparing students for 11+ exams.

First of all, I carry out baseline assessment, then after analysing the data, identify gaps, set targets and tailor the lesson to suit the needs of the child/children. This might involve using teaching in various stages: teaching key skills/concepts, using and applying to solve problem and where necessary repeated examples if a child needs extra support. This might involve use of different approaches to suit the needs of the learner, for example: use of visuals, modelling, shared writing, analysing key features, using practical resources, using different strategies to facilitate the understanding of the learner.
