About Dimpal jyoti
Dr. Mahanta is currently Head and Assistant Professor of the Department of Mathematics at Kaziranga University. His research areas covers mathematical modelling, method of estimation and iteration methods.
He received Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences in July, 2018 from the Department of mathematical Sciences at Tezpur University (a Central University), Assam, India. He has been working under the supervision of Prof. Munindra Borah, Department of mathematics, Tezpur University, Tezpur, India. He obtained his M. Sc. in Mathematics from Tezpur University in 2011 and B.Sc. in Mathematics from govt. Science college (Now Jorhat Institute of Science and Technology), Jorhat, Assam. During his M. Sc. he qualified GATE (conducted by MHRD) in Mathematics with All India Rank 180.
