About Anthony
I am a TESOL-certified English teacher from Toronto with more than seven years of experience teaching in Canada, Spain, and Colombia. My background includes teaching English and critical reasoning at the university level, as well as leading yoga classes internationally. I am also a published author, which strengthens my ability to guide students in creative and academic writing. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing me to support learners from diverse backgrounds. With this combination of experience, I bring patience, creativity, and professionalism to every lesson, helping students gain fluency and confidence in their English, whether for exams, professional goals, or everyday communication.

My methodology is tailored to each student’s needs, with a strong focus on conversation, writing, and reading to build solid foundations in English. A typical lesson may include guided speaking practice, reading and analyzing a text, discussing its themes, and then completing a short writing task related to the reading.
What sets me apart is my 7+ years of teaching experience in both Spain, Colombia and Canada, working with students of all ages and levels. I am TESOL-certified and bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows me to support Spanish-speaking learners more effectively.
While I am comfortable teaching all ages, I bring particular experience and success working with adults and young adults (18+), including university students and professionals who want to improve fluency, academic writing, or prepare for official exams such as IELTS and Cambridge.
