About Kia
Hi, my name is Kia, and my goal is to help you understand accounting principles by breaking them down into everyday language. I have extensive tutoring experience in financial and managerial accounting and believe that personalized tutoring fills a niche that cannot be filled in today's schools alone.
What i enjoy most about the work i do is having the chance to help people improve and retain their accounting skills without the cost of tuition, textbooks, childcare, and travel. I also enjoy creating accounting sample problems with detailed walkthroughs, to open a new avenue to help my students achieve the best understanding of accounting possible.
I started tutoring privately, and soon after, I began tutoring financial and managerial accounting professionally at Irvine Valley College and Course Hero, Inc. I learned how to create Google Sheets containing accounting sample problems with detailed walkthroughs, opening a new avenue to helping my students achieve the best understanding of accounting possible. This success led me to create my own YouTube channel and website in order to share the knowledge that I had accumulated.
