About Jonathan
I have performed on and off Broadway and have a passion for finding the perfect material for my clients. With a non-dogmatic approach, I empower my students to discover and embrace their casting type, and to jumpstart their careers at whatever stage they are. I hold an MFA in acting from the prestigious Old Globe acting program in San Diego. (concealed information)
I love bringing a new monologue or scene to a client that they've never read that turns out to be a perfect fit. I've worked professionally as a teaching artist an acting coach in New York City, for Hudson Valley Shakespeare, Barrington Stage Company, Denver Center, and universities across the country. I have a real passion for helping clients explore what they want in a scene or monologue and how they plan to get it.

I like to start with exploring a piece of text (a monologue or scene) that my student has already worked on. I like to have a discussion about casting types, and then move on to assigning and exploring material that is new the student.
