About John
Since 2003 we focus on promoting a passion for the arts. Through workshops, classes and international camps, students develop the skills in all areas of performance for the stage and screen.
I have been working with students around the world for over 25 years (Costa Rica, Colombia, Brazil, Thailand, Kuwait, Turkey, Mozambique, Guatemala, China and the US. I have brought students to perform at festivals across Europe and in Asia.
Currently, I live in Beijing. If you are lucky during our time together, I will be traveling somewhere in the world and i will be able to share interesting experiences and people during our class.
I look forward to sharing my experience and knowledge with students from around the world!
I love working with the young people of the world and watching them learn the skills to develop their creativity and develop their interest in the arts. Whether as an actor, director or script writer, each person should pursue their interest or curiostiy.
I started teaching ESL to middle and high school students. I am a certified teacher.
I have been in theatre for nearly 30 yeas. I've worked with Stomp and Trestle Mask in the UK as well as attended workshops and festivals in Europe in Asia as both a teacher, performer and student. I also am certified in the IB program through professional development with ISTA

In order to help students best, I must first know their goals and what they hope to achieve. From there, we can build the program that fits their interest.
I have worked with students all over the world. I have been directing shows with young people as well as teaching theatre in international schools in the US, Colombia, Brazil, Thailand, Kuwait, Turkey, Mozambique, Guatemala and China.
I have also been teaching literature and English during this time to middle and high school students.
If you are interested in the arts, but you are unsure, the only way to find out is by trying it. You have absolutely nothing to lose. The one misconception that people have when they think of getting involved in theatre is that it is only acting. That is only one part of the puzzle. There is the director, the playwright, the backstage, the choreographer, the set and prop builders, to mention a few. Whatever area you are interested in just get involved!

Working with Mr. John has been an eventful experience one I will never forget. He is always tough on his students, but its because he cares. He wants us to succeed. Mr.M taught me some very important things in life, he taught me how to take critism, and how to work hard even when you tired and you team isnt helping, he taught me how to he the best actor its can be and even with his tough love and the stress of a performance how to put on a show with a smile on my face.
