About Boris
I’m Boris, a recent Cambridge graduate and part time tutor. I teach so I can pass on the knowledge I worked hard to acquire during my degree, and for my own enjoyment: I love Latin, especially discussing literature. I’m currently a law student and enjoy cycling around London.

I am a Cambridge Classics graduate. My ten years of classical education combined with my experience of teaching part time in a secondary school for a year means I am qualified to teach Latin at all levels. I had all A* at secondary school and First-class marks on my Latin papers in my Finals at Cambridge. The lesson will start with a recap of the homework which I set and mark as part of the service. We will discuss any questions arising from the homework, then move on to unseen exercises. If following the GCSE or A level syllabus, I will spend half the lesson doing in depth review of the set text and show students how to follow a proven method to score highly on the essay questions. Most importantly the lessons are a product of interaction between the teacher and student: I plan each one uniquely for the student, to target weak points and ensure excellence.

Perfect! Currently Boris is teaching the syllabus of GCSE in Latin. Boris is kind, patient and understanding towards students with learning disabilities. I am looking forward to the entire process and learning more about the Latin language. Thank you for your understanding and patient.
