About Harnekh
I am a dedicated and approachable tutor who is passionate about helping students reach their full potential. I am currently studying Medicine at university, and I understand first-hand the commitment, organisation and confidence needed to succeed academically.
I have previous experience tutoring students online, including supporting students with 11+ preparation, as well as mentoring younger students. These experiences have helped me develop strong communication skills and taught me how to adapt my approach to suit different students and their individual needs.
I aim to create a positive and comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes and challenging themselves. I am patient, reliable and well organised, and I take pride in preparing thoroughly for each lesson so that students get the most out of their time with me.
Whether a student is preparing for an important examination, struggling with a particular topic or simply looking to build their confidence, I will work with them to identify areas for improvement and make steady progress. My goal is to ensure that students not only improve academically, but also become more confident and independent learners.

My approach to tutoring is centred around making lessons engaging, supportive and tailored to each student. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take the time to identify their strengths, areas for improvement and preferred learning style before adapting my teaching accordingly.
I like to explain difficult topics in a simple and clear way, breaking them down into manageable steps rather than overwhelming students with too much information at once. I use a combination of explanations, worked examples, questioning and practice questions to help students develop both their understanding and confidence. I also encourage students to ask questions and make mistakes, as I believe this is an important part of learning.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although I can adapt the length depending on the student's age, level and individual needs. I aim to make each lesson interactive rather than simply talking through content, with time dedicated to practising what we have covered and identifying areas to work on in future sessions.
I have experience tutoring students online, including 11+ preparation, and have also gained experience mentoring younger students. Alongside this, I am currently studying Medicine, giving me a strong academic background in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I am particularly keen to support students preparing for 11+, GCSE and A Level examinations.
My goal is not only to help students achieve better grades, but also to help them become more confident, independent learners who feel comfortable tackling challenging topics.
