About Frankie
I am a friendly, positive, and experienced tutor with a passion for modern languages, studying an Integrated Masters in French, German, and Linguistics at the University of Southampton. I have experience in tutoring and teaching French, German, and English as a foreign language to students from a range of different backgrounds. Through studying linguistics, I have gained knowledge in the areas of grammar, pronunciation, sociolinguistics, and language acquisition, meaning I can offer a rounded, enriching experience.
I can help you make progress in order to achieve your goals, whether that's GCSE, A-Level, or other, while sharing my enthusiasm for languages. I am known for being both patient and reliable, and I incorporate a student-led approach to my sessions where appropriate. I have achieved As in both languages at A-Level, a first in my first year of university, and academic awards for French and German at university.

I take a positive, individualised approach to tutoring. As a modern languages student who's been learning languages for 15 years, I am very familiar with the most effective techniques for making quick progress in the target languages.The sessions will be tailored to your needs, so I will be flexible and target the skills you most need help with - whether it's reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, or translation. I am familiar with the GCSE / A-level syllabuses, so lessons can be focused on exam practice if required.
