About Isabel
I enjoy helping others with learning curriculum. I have a passion for art, and while my own technical skill is still in development, I am able to help with basic art concepts and principles such as color theory and the elements of art. I am also well-versed in English and able to revise essays and reports very well. My knowledge of sentence structure and grammar are very helpful (so I'm told). I've tutored casually over the years in English and art concepts, so despite my lack of a full degree (I am currently in college working towards one) I have had prior tutoring experience. People most often come to me for help in revising essays, reports, and other important class or work papers.
I enjoy helping others. I understand needing help in certain areas, and the stress that comes along with it. My purpose in life is to assist other while keeping busy.

I like to introduce myself, and then have my student introduce themself. I then ask what I can do to assist them, and work from there until I believe I've helped with what they needed. I close by asking if I have, in fact, provided what they needed, and then resume to ask if there is anything else they'd like my help with. If everything has been sorted out and the student is satisfied, I wish them a nice day and offer my services if needed in the future.
I have mainly worked with fellow classmates or people who are taking classes that I have previously taken.
I would advise you to look for a tutor you feel like you'd be comfortable talking to based on what you're needing help with. For instance, if you have a simple question or task you need assistance with or advice on, it would be wise to find a tutor with lower rates (and, of course, good reviews) that will be able to quickly help you. For more complex questions it would make sense to find a tutor that might be more high-quality and possessing a deeper background of knowledge in that area of expertise.
I am fond of helping a lady in my English Composition class whose primary speaking language is not English achieve a high grade in the course through numerous tutoring sessions and paper revisions. I was happy with her feedback of my assistance, and I am hoping to achieve positive reviews when I try my hand at being an online tutor.

I try to evaluate the pricing of a session based on what is needed from me in each individual session. My typical approach to pricing is to ask my client what they feel comfortable paying based on how well I helped them, how much time it took to help them, and how much help they needed. I try to be very flexible and approachable on pricing based on individual needs.
