I advise on what chanter and tutor book to buy and then we get started whether you are a beginner or experienced piper.
I live in Kilmacolm Scotland and can teach locally or by Skype if you are not close by.

Tom is an excellent bagpipe teacher and very clear in his explanations and demonstrations. He is kind and encouraging as well as being firm and supportive. Tom has a great sense of humour and lessons with him are fun but full of hard work and you always come away feeling you have achieved something as well as having had a great time.
My son started with Tom at the age of 6, 6 years later he is winning competitions and still very much enjoys his lessons with Tom.
Tom Johnstone is a superb teacher and without doubt a absolute Gentleman. Lessons with him are tailored to the students abilities and are never boring. In one word “excellent”.
