About Matthew
As a current college lacrosse player at the University of Tampa, I know exactly what it takes for young athletes to be successful. I focus on the fundamental and mental aspects of basketball and lacrosse. For basketball I emphasize the importance of a good jump shot, foot work, mental toughness, and hustle. For lacrosse I focus on developing good stick skills with both hands, groundballs, defense, shot selection, and field vision.
ABOUT ME
I played basketball and lacrosse at Dominion High School before graduating in 2018.
In basketball I was able to play just about any position due to my toughness and understanding of the gamebut what really made me a good player was my jump shot. I shot 45% from 3, 50% from the field, and was a 90% free throw shooter. Basketball is the sport i love most, however, lacrosse is what I'm best at.
In lacrosse I play LSM (long-stick middie). I won a state championship with dominion in 2016 and was runner-up in 2018. I'm very good at getting ground balls and due to my good stick skills, I have the ability to push in transition. my understanding of the game has made it much easier to play good defense and predict what the offense whats to do.
