About Heather
Hello!
My name is Heather and I am a college Junior studying Biology. I have experience with Introductory and General biology, as well as anatomy and physiology! I attend West Virginia University and I have over a year's experience as a teaching assistant in biology.
I began teaching when I was offered a position as a TA in biology. It wasn't until I started hosting large exam review sessions, though, that I realized how much I enjoyed teaching.
I am in my third year of my Bachelor's of Science in Biology, and I have completed courses in general Biology, introductory biology and physiology, human anatomy and physiology, and general and organic chemistry. I also have been a biology TA for the past three semesters, which has given me the opportunity to teach biology in an academic setting.

I like to figure out what the student's biggest weaknesses are and work to help resolve those first. When approaching a new concept, I always like to keep the big picture in mind to help relate course content to the real world.
