About Olivia
Welcome! As an education fanatic, I am passionate about meeting the needs of my students and catering to their learning styles. I have been tutoring for the last 4 years since I was an undergraduate and greatly enjoy working with students to help them meet their goals.
A bit about myself... I received my Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and graduated with Honors from UC Davis in 2018. Going forward, I will be attending a graduate program in the healthcare field in the near future.
I look forward to meeting you!
It is a great accomplishment to be a student and to reap the rewards of your efforts. It is a true joy to work with students of all ages and assist them as they explore the ways in which they best learn. My goal is to equip students with the skills they need to succeed.

1. It is important for me to know what topics the student has learned and what they are currently having trouble with. Having a strong understanding of foundational concepts is key.
2. Next, we will focus on determining the learning strategies and habits which will be most effective for this student. This includes identifying the learning methods which have been less helpful in the past.
3. Finally, we will develop and execute a plan for the topics to explore (with examples) and how this student will continue this process independently.
"Give a man a fish and you will feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish and you will feed him for a lifetime."
Look for a teacher who will equip you with the skills you need to learn how to learn. You can then carry these study habits and strategies with you going forward.
