About Shaun
Shaun Leverett is a Los Angeles based Muay Thai instructor and Certified Personal Trainer. Shaun is amazing at achieving long-term results through challenging and constantly varied workouts. He is widely recognized for his expertise in functional training and his commitment to developing and implementing innovative fitness training sessions. With more than 25 years in the fitness industry, Shaun's unique approach, boundless energy and humor only add to the effectiveness of the experience his clients enjoy. With a client list as diverse as his training methods, Shaun emphasizes getting stronger daily as a training module that can be transferred from your workout to your daily life. "Body Art by Shaun" was established with the idea of changing lives through health and fitness. Shaun has had the pleasure of training everyone from non-athletes to athletes to celebrities alike. He has headed several children's after school fitness programs in the cities of Inglewood,Ca and Hawthorne,Ca. Shaun has been Health and Fitness editor of both Inglewood Today and Crenshaw Today Magazines. He also wrote and maintained a monthly fitness article for both magazines entitled "Shape Up with Shaun”. Shaun has been part of several in home fitness video's including, Kathy Smith's time saver video series: Lift Weights to Loose Weight and cyclist in the "Cycle Reebok video infomercial. He had a reoccurring advisory role on the weekly radio program, "Recycling Black Dollars". Shaun has worked with a host of both radio and television personalities including KTLA5 reporter Gayle Anderson during a swimsuit workout.
