About Nadiya
I am in my last year of law school and I am committed to strong writing, critical reading and analysis, and I love to proofread and work on essays. I want to help you improve your writing as much as you can!

My favorite part about helping others improve on their work is seeing their confidence increase. My goal is to help you develop the skills necessary for strong writing and analysis.
I realized that many friends and family members would ask me to review their work for them, and I really enjoyed it! So I thought, why not turn this into something more and help others outside of my immediate circle.
I am a law student, so critical reading and writing are a part of my day, every day! I am confident in my writing abilities, and I frequently proofread documents, writing, resumes, essays, and even contracts for friends and family members. I love it! I also worked with a college admissions counselor, helping him proofread essays for his clients who were applying to colleges. This was a great experience and allowed me to interact with the students to learn the best approach for each unique individual.

My first step is to chat with the student to understand their background, what they are struggling with, and what their goals are. I like to then develop a plan about how we are going to help them accomplish those goals. This usually requires me to work closely with them and review their work, highlighting areas for improvement. It is then crucial that we discuss those weaknesses and figure out a way to work through them to improve the student's writing. Building confidence is also key!
I have worked with professionals (resume and cover letter review), high school students (writing college entrance essays), and law students (reviewing their legal writing).
Have confidence! I know this is easier said than done, but it truly makes the biggest difference. The first step to improving is recognizing that there is room for improvement! You are making this first step, and that is huge!
I recently have been helping a friend's sibling work on his essay for an application to a pre-college program. It was a great experience seeing him draft an outline, review it with me, and work on improving his writing to the point where he was confident in his abilities and grateful for my guidance!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should think about whether their difficulties are stemming from disinterest in a particular subject, distractions, lack of motivation, finding the subject hard, etc. Finding the source of your struggle, to the best of your ability, will help me figure out a plan for you!
