About Péter
My name is Péter Szakács, I am 20 and I come from Hungary. I am a student of The University of Music and Theatre "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" Leipzig (Germany) since October 2020. Before I had the opportunity to take classes and masterclasses with such famous cellists, as Miklós Perényi, Raphael Pidoux, Ann Gastinel, Justus Grimm, Atanas Krastev, Denis Severin, Déri György, Adam Krzeszowiec, Chu Yi-Bing, Varga István and others. I am a prize winner of First Ukranian National Cello Competition 2016, "ProArt 2017 International Cello Competition", "Lviv Virtuoso" International Competition 2019. Aditionally, I had practicum of teaching cello for children in the Uzhhorod State Music College in 2018-2019, where I had two pupils. All the experience and knowledge I have I am happy to share with all of you. I am ready and excited to work with people of any age and taste of music, with beginners and amateurs. I can help you to improve your technical level of playing, as well as be a musical advisor. We are going to find a schedule which fits you the best. I am very happy to work with all of you!
I am student of Leipzig University of Musik and Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" since October 2020. In past I studied in Ukraine and Hungary.

With a new student I explain and show all the basical rules of cello playing, but always in a way of trying to develop the good individual sides of the student. I work on the posture and on the methodics of getting the muscles relaxed during playing, which helps you to increase your level. I use in my method some general, famous, and also own excercises, which work very well for beginners and professionals.
