About Nathan
Hi, I'm Nathan! I have a magna cum laude bachelor's degree in Biochemistry & Biophysics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and I mentor students with everything science. With a couple years of experience of mentoring college students in cellular biology and biochemistry, I'm always happy to help people get the grades they want! I try to make everyting as interesting as possible, and will do anything to help you succeed. Please reach out if you have any questions about my credentials or experience!
I started as a Teaching Assistant in a cellular biology laboratory, and realized I have a knack for explaining things in an understandable way.
I have a bachelor's degree in biochemistry & biophysics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

If you don’t know exactly why you might be struggling, that is always the first step. We would need to go through old assignments and tests to see what kind of trouble you're happening. After that, we will start with teh fundamentals and work our way up to more advanced concepts.
Mostly college students, but I would love to start helping high school or middle school students as well.
Always look at credentials. In math, tutors might be able to just work through the question from what they know, but science requires that you know exactly what happens at the most basic levels.
I recently became a published scientific author!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Know exactly what areas of science issues you are having. A lot of the time, science is either basic memory recall, or simply understanding a concept. For example, if you're having trouble with chemistry, are you misunderstanding a major overarching concept, or are you having trouble following all of the tiny details?
