About Gail
Hello, I am a science tutor with a PhD in Chemistry (Materials and Nanoscience) from UCLA. I'm open to tutoring all ages, and have experience working with students from 3rd grade to Undergraduates. While at UCLA I was a teaching assistant for 15 classes (>700 students, ~4 years, lecture and labs) and worked as a peer-learning workshop leader for the Program for Excellence in Education and Research in the Sciences.
I have also developed laboratory experiments for middle/high school students on acid/base chemistry and nanoscience (one of which is currently published in the Journal of Chemical Education).
I primarily tutor undergraduate general and organic chemistry for life science (Pre-Med) and physical science majors. In addition, I also enjoy working with younger students in middle/high school on their science/chemistry coursework.
