About Zachary
I have taken and tutored Chemistry 1 and 2 at the high school, and college level, as well as Organic Chemistry 1 and 2 for 3 years. I have a passion for chemistry that shines through my tutoring, and my students have found academic success at their schools and univerisities. I am currently a Senior at the University of Florida, and am planning on continuing to study chemistry after school.
I love every type of chemistry, from the most basic to most complex. For fun I write chemistry problems for my friends and I! I enjoy helping my students learn, and sharing in their success. I will help you learn by explaining concepts and applying them, as well as providing practice problems to cement the knowledge.
I started after falling in love with Chemistry in my Freshman year of college, and have not stopped since!
I am a Senior at the University of Florida in the department of Microbiology and Cell Science. I have taken, and gotten "As" in General Chemistry 1 and 2, Organic Chemistry 1 and 2, and Biochemistry. Starting in General Chemsitry 1, I began tutoring my peers and high school students, leading to their success in these classes. I am also an undergraduate teaching assistant at the University of Florida in the Microbiology Department.

I will start by talking to them, assessing their skill level and their needs. I will ask questions, listen to their responses, and agree on areas that we should work on. I then create a personalized lesson plan, beginning with background knowledge, the lesson, practice problems, and exam prep.
Junior and Senior high school students, as well as Freshman-Senior college students.
I would look for a teacher that knows the material inside and out, and a teacher who cares about your success in the subject.
Holding a online research symposium for the students I TA for. The students and faculty all seemed to have a good time discussing their research!
