About Daniel
I have been interested in chemistry since I first took honors Chemistry my sophomore year of high school. I previously graduated from UNCW with my Bachelors in Chemistry and prior to that attended a community college with an Associates of Science with coursework directly relating to engineering. One of my favorite things at community college was working with a variety of different people from different backgrounds and different situations. When enrolled in community college I would tutor and host study sessions for General Chemistry 1 and General Chemistry 2. One of my favorite things was finding new approaches, analogies, and methods for catering to an individual to help them understand the subjects. My completed coursework so far is

it's my hope that with my love for the science and the enjoyment of working hands on with someone that I may help those who need an extra hand become proficient in the topic.
I knew my love for science would direct my pathway for my career and education, what I hadn't known is just how deep one could get into chemistry, I love the parallels in everything learned in my coursework with things I see in everyday life, I love the lab environment, and I love coming up with unique ways to tackle concepts and techniques.

I am currently a senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and am pursuing my bachelors degree in Chemistry.

Typically I like to see where someone is in their coursework, what material they are currently covering and have previously covered, sometimes explaining something you don't know can be difficult , so I try to have these difficulties explained to me, along with reviewing some previous tests, quizzes , homework , along with current homework and study guides. I will go over the previous material in correlation to the found results and try to work through any current coursework alongside the student. Anybody can achieve anything if they work hard enough, one of the most difficult tasks is motivation, having a hard time understanding a topic can be very frustrating so I always try to find ways to cooperatively overcome stonewalling. The most important thing is that in this process it isn't as simple as someone helping teach someone else, but we are taking on material and concepts as a team.
