About John
I'm currently writing my thesis to finish up my Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Biophysics. In the program, I was a teaching assistant for multiple different Biochemistry and Cell Biology courses at Oregon State University. As a TA I was responsible for teaching breakout recitations and having office hours for one-on-one or small group tutoring.
I greatly enjoyed the tutoring aspect of the TA position and I am absolutely fancinated with science. Being able to talk science, particularly cell biology and biochemistry, is genuninely fun for me and being able to pass on some of that passion to a student is the goal.
