About Kaitlyn
I started tutoring Chemistry while I was earning my bachelors degree in 2018. I was an academic tutor at East Carolina University until May of this year and I loved being able to help other students understand Chemistry. I have taken several tutoring courses and I am able to cater to all learning styles from visual to tactile and everything in between.
I have taken AP chemistry and regular chemistry in high school, as well as General Chemistry 1 and 2 and Organic Chemistry 1 and 2 in college.

I typically begin by asking the student what topics they are currently covering as well as how they like to take notes for their class. The first thing that I think can be improved for successful studying is note taking habits, so that is usually the first obstacle I confront. My aim for the first tutoring session is to become comfortable with one another and set up a good work flow for the next tutoring session, as well as covering some basics for note taking and studying that can be used throughout that class.
