About Adrienne
Following completion of my bachelors degree instead of entering the research field or pursuing medical school I found my passion in sharing this educator with young aspiring scientists.
I am a full time science faculty member at a college preparatory school in Connecticut. I have a bachelors degree with a 3.8 GPA focused in biology/biomolecular science with a strong background in chemistry as well. Currently I am pursuing a MS in Biology. Additionally I am College Board AP certified in Biology.

I first determine what their problem areas are, is it diagrams, difficulty parsing complex phrasing, etc. Following that I will curate a lesson plan strategy to focus on weaknesses while still building on strengths. As a current high school educator I have resources and experience for students of all levels from low to AP.
I have worked with low level (CP2) all the way up to AP, additionally I have tutored freshman biology at the collegiate level.
Make sure you find someone who is compatible with your learning style and preferences, anyone can read from your book or powerpoint, followed by asking questions from the book. With my services each lesson is catered to you with inquiry based thinking and applications to not only help you learn material but hold it with you over time.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Think about past test, quiz, and lesson outcomes, what did you like what didn't you like. Be sure to remember the difference between what challenges you and what you dont like! Sometimes challege is good for you, pushing yourself can help you get even further in understanding! The periodic table wasnt built in a day!!
