Hi! Im a recent graduate from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut, and I have a BS in Health Science, a Chemistry minor, and a Concentration in Global Health.
I have 1 year of experience as being a Certified Learning Assistant for Physics 1 & 2 on campus, where I would hold about 6 hours of tutoring sessions every week to work with students. I also have experience working with kids-- as a tennis instructor! Thus, I have the experience of working with children when given a difficult task.
I always utilized outside help during my college years, and I would love to help others! I am the type of person that does not understand or synthesize concepts or new material quickly-- my roomate could study for 2 hours, I'd be there studying all day to ensure I understood it and mastered it. Nothing ever comes easy-- hard work is key and there is nothing wrong with getting help to be successful. I went to a tutor twice a week every semester, and I am looking forward to helping others!
I have a bubbly personality and always try to make things fun! I am also a visual learner as well so I utilize that in my sessions in order to get material across.

I have more experience working with college-aged clients because I know how their brain works as I am a recent grad, but I am open to all ages! I love being able to see the light bulb click, when myself and the client have worked so hard.
I have always went for extra help in my studies, and knowing that you're not alone when struggling academically is the key to success! I love helping others, which is why I want to go into the health field, and I'd love to use my science background for a few hours each week.
