About Sarah
I am a UC Berkeley Ph.D. student who has taught organic chemistry, advanced organic chemistry, and chemical biology. I have lots of tutoring experience from high school to the college level.
Teaching 3 semesters is a requirement for my PhD program. When I finished my required teaching, I continued to tutor.

I ask for a brief description of what they have covered so far in class and what topics they would specifically like me to cover. I then spend about 30-60 minutes preparing a lesson plan to go over the topic and include practice questions. Additionally, if the student has questions they would like help with, I also ask that those be sent to me in advance so I can work them out beforehand as to not waste any time during the lesson.
