About Blake
I recently graduated from Oregon State University where I majored in biohealth sciences and minored in chemistry. My cummulative GPA is 3.5. I continue to keep my skills in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, psychology, fresh as I am preparing to take the MCAT exam.
My goal is to provide helpful, and friendly assitance to students who are looking to improve their science grades and knowledge.

The first step of any successful endeavor is to gain understanding of the issue at-hand. For example, if you are having difficulties understanding DNA replication it is important to note if the issue is not knowing the machinery involved, or if there is a conceptual misunderstanding. I will take into account your current learning strengths, and help you build on your weaknesses.
The next step is to find out how topics apply to the bigger picture. In my opinion, the tedious details of science start to come alive when you realize the role they play in life around us. By taking the time to apply concepts you will have a more enjoyable experience, and be more confident on test day.
