About Kate
I am a certified science 7-12 teacher in Texas and California with experience teaching several levels of biology and chemistry. Additionally, I have experience tutoring biology, chemistry, and biochemistry. I am a passionate educator committed to helping students become equipped to succeed both in their classes, future classes, and life in general.
I am a certified science teacher with experience teaching advanced, on-level, and AP chemistry as well as AP and on-level biology. Furthermore, I have experience tutoring in both one on one settings and group sessions.

I first begin by ascertaining what kind of student they are. For example, study habits, organization habits, interests, strenghts, weaknesses, etc. This helps me to gain a holistic picture of the student's life, and how I can best equip them with the tools for success. Then I discuss the student's goals with them, trying to make a specific plan we can move through to acheive each of their learning goals.
