About Yi Wen
I offer experienced, professionally trained, and attentive tutoring to all my students. My native fluency in Chinese offers a level of language immersion that students greatly benefit from. I have taught Chinese at all levels, from introductory all the way to business Chinese. I can help you with any level of Chinese that you need.
I always had a great grasp of both English and Chinese. With that, I wanted to use my understanding of Chinese to help Chinese language learners improve and understand the language.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching Chinese as a Second Langauge. After graduating, I tutored in Taipei for two years, working with students learning all different levels. Furthermore, I have nearly a year of teaching Chinese to students all over America.

I like to see where they are in their Chinese learning and see what aspects they're interested in improving in. Whether they're looking to improve in their vocabulary, improve their conversational speaking, or learn Chinese for their work.
I have worked with students as young as five and as old as sixty.
Find someone who is willing to adjust their lesson plans to your specific needs. Language learning is all about being taught what you want, what you are looking to get out of it, and for what you will use the language for.
Recently, I was tutoring an American working in Taipei who was up for a job at a large company and needed to practice their Chinese for their interview. I was able to work with the student and refine their pronunciation, colloquialisms, and vocabulary for the interview. I was ecstatic when they told me that they got the job!
