About Uriel
I am a current JavaScript/Python Tutor at a children's institute called Magikid Robotics Lab. I am a 2nd year Computer Science student at University, and specialize in Java programming. I have taught as a JavaScript tutor at another children's coding institution called Code Ninjas, therefore I am extensively qualified to teach coding, as well as work with children.
I became a Calculus/Programming Tutor at my University, then worked as a Coding Tutor for children (age 3-12) at Code Ninjas. Now, I currently work at Magikid Robotics Lab teaching JavaScript and Python programming to kids age 3-9.

First, I check their level of knowledge. (i.e. how familiar they are with the syntax of JavaScript/Java/Python, how much they know about computers in general, etc.) From there I start with a short, simple, and easy project of coding a calculator in JavaScript/Java/Python. The project will introduce them to the basic syntax of programming languages, and many fundamental concepts. After that the student will progress to building a slightly more advanced project/game.
All ages. Most of my youngest students that learn syntax coding is from 7-9 years old.
Find a teacher that uses tools of reinforcement -- such as making small projects together.
One of my students that I am a private tutor for expressed that she loves my lessons and asked her parents to sign up for extra lessons per week.
