I hired Chef JoAnna come to my house to give a private cooking lesson to myself and my wife. She was very flexible in setting up the time of the lesson and the menu. She provided some suggestions that included full meals or mix and match courses. We opted for the Butter Nut Squash Ravioli and Linguini with two different sauces. Both were made with pasta that we made from scratch. The dessert was tiramisu that was just a delicious as any tiramisu I've ever had. She even covered lots of different cooking tips, skills, and equipment. We LOVED it. I was worried it might be a little awkward, but JoAnna and her sense of humor made it as comfortable as possible. It was my request to start at 5:30 pm due to time constraints, but I would recommend starting a little earlier if possible as it was several hours before we were ready to eat what we cooked (pasta is hard, ha-ha). JoAnna warned us it would be awhile, but I'd like to further recommend that you be prepared to wait 3-4 hrs. If anyone is thinking of having a lesson, I highly recommend using Chef JoAnna.
