About Matilda
I care so much about my students as individuals and I love when I can help them achieve their goals and see them grow. The combination of learning and enjoying the process in the meantime is so important to me, so I make sure that the studio is a safe space where we are having a great time! Falling in love with movement, working out and having fun is definitely key words in my classes no matter if I teach kids, teenagers or adults.
My name is Matilda, I am 23 years old and I have been teaching hip hop and jazz funk for over 6 years, but have experience in ballet, modern and contemporary too. I have been working and touring as a professional dancer all over the world for the past three years - China, London, Copenhagen, Paris has definitely been my favorite places! My schedule as a dancer is very flexible and I would love to dance with you anytime.

The first thing we do is to find out what the students goals are. Do you want to get better in one style? Multiple styles? Do you want to be better at picking up choreography? Or to learn the foundations? Do you need choreography for a video? Also we talk about what level the student is on (beg/int/exp.) so I can prepare the best class for him/her.
You don't have to know specifically what you want I can easily prepare classes for you no matter what, but I love to hear the students thoughts and wishes.
