Glenn is truly one of the most incredible professors I've had. His constant positivity and optimistic outlook on life is always such a breath of fresh air. He really takes time to work with each student individually and help progress their creative process.

I can't thank you enough for this wonderful experience. You can't imagine how much you taught me this summer, I am eternally grateful. Before I came to the program (Parsons Summer Intensive Studies), I had some knowledge from my art classes about all the different types and forms of art (the typical things like painting, molding, drawing, and photography) but nothing like fashion illustration. I never considered a form of art because I had never divulged myself into trying it and I did not fully grasp what impact it had on the fashion industry.

Throughout the weeks spent with Glenn Tunstull, I had never been so challenged yet motivated in any art class I have been enrolled in. I was only slightly concerned at the beginning due to my limited experience drawing the fashion figure, however, Glenn challenged me to practice and have patience. I have never felt so confident as a student than when I was in Glenn's class because, as Renaldo Barnette (a reputable prof at FIT and renown fashion designer/illustrator) said, he never criticizes work, he provides feedback and helps his students improve their work one page at a time. Although I am not the most talented fashion illustrator, I noticed tremendous progress looking back at my first figure towards my final collection. Glenn always made sure each of his students felt confident in themselves and not once made us feel as if we were not important to him.

Glenn is such a inspiring and very talented artist who has such a beautiful way of communicating with me as I live in Texas and I have not met him in person.
I was a new artist after working in big business for over 38 years and I began my new work with him and he only inspires, he is not critical in a negative way. He wants his students to learn in a positive way and is always kind, helpful and right on what he suggests.
