About Henry
I believe that it takes courage to create! Often the mind says no I can't when the heart says but I really want to! Making art is a perfect way to indulge the heart because it's a language you get to speak to yourself! Zero judgements, zero expectations just you and your desire to learn!!!
People saw my artwork and asked me if I would be willing to teach them! I've had some pretty yucky teachers in the past so I saw/see it as an opportunity to provide that opposite experience for my students! I love it!! I love watching my students excede their expectations! No negative self talk!!
BFA from UMASS Dartmouth, MA in painting
Extensive experience in illustration and all forms of 2 dimensional art making
3 years of teaching experience for the Art Association of Jackson Hole
extensive theater and performance experience as well as costume design, fashion design and illustration, set design, hair and makeup
Teaching art to both adults and young adult as well as special and gifted students

Details
I charge $50 an hour for both remote and in person learning, I have received my Covid 19 vaccination via Pfizer. Student is responsible for providing a meeting space as well as their own supplies. I am willing to provide supplies for an additional fee of $5 for drawing, $10 for painting. Venmo payment is preferred or cash, check at time of lesson. 24 hour cancellation notification required. If less than that, full payment is required.
