As an instructor, Leslie was inspiring, not intimidating, and supportive. She gave us many techniques and styles of art to try out along with different drawing and painting mediums. We also had the freedom to try things out our own way. She inspired us as to be supportive of and to enjoy the work of each other in the class, which added to the pleasure of the experience.

She doesn't try to confine you to "a style" as I've had other teachers do. She is very encouraging and finds ways to compliment you even when a work didn't go as you planned.
