About DEBRA
I have been working as a professional artist for over 18 years. I have teachable skills in many creative fields from traditional oil painting, charcoal & graphite drawing, large murals, gold leafing and more. I have a good grasp on color theory & composition . knowledgeable about painting material after years of experiments . I love to share my skills to others and I believe bringing creativity into ones day can be so therapeutic. I have a BA Hons degree from a reputable university in the UK . But honestly most my knowledge comes from my own artistic endeavors since college . I can teach beginners to intermediate students adults ans children’s classes .
Art can be a life journey, experimenting with ideas & concepts, always learning and improving ones skills. I truly believe that being creative can elevate ones mood, sometimes meditative one can learn how to express themselves visually . Art therapy for some

Starts with a conversation prior to a new lesson in order to find out the students creative desires . I generally send out an email with a set of questions that talks about art that inspires them or we set can set up a phone conversation if they prefer to verbally answer my questions . I then will be able to design a class specifically for them.
