About Julie
I owned and operated an art school in Ohio before relocating to Florida. I hold a Bachelor degree in Fine Art in Studio Arts. I teach what I know and always open to experimentation and exploring new techniques to create personally inspiring works of art.
I enjoy the satisfaction of sharing my love of art with others and helping them see their own way in art, their own inspiration and path to their style.
I opened my own art studio after graduating from college in 2014.
I hold a BFA in Studio Arts. I have 6 years experience teaching studio art. Drawing, painting, sculpting.

I begin by looking at some work that the student has done to get a sense of their style. Then we together develop a plan for pushing through their boundaries and going further with their work, and carrying that into other media.
Children as young as 5 to adults as mature as 75
I'm not a "normal" teacher. When I teach art, it is me showing you my techniques to see if you might like to implement them in your own drawing process. There is no "one way" to be an artist. I want to nurture that any way that I can.
The most recent event I am fond of is when my husband brought home cake and ice cream for my birthday on Jan 24. It was a very relaxing day of Happy Birthday texts, naps, and gifts in many different forms. I enjoyed the fact we could all lay around together and be together.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Are you able to critique my art, without criticizing my work? The answer is yes, definitely. Are willing to teach me new ways to approach a new medium? Am I willing to learn new ways to approach media I have already learned?
