About Jami
I'm a lifelong advocate for effective education. I have worked as an educator in both the public and private school system, but most of my work has been in the area of education policy -- individualized services, options for families, breaking the one-size-fits-all policies, and local control of education.
I currently serve on the Centralia School Board.
I am also a skilled communicator and I have the ability to "think sideways" to find multiple ways to explain concepts.
I have a Master’s Degree from Western Washington University.
I have worked as an educator in a private school for three years, and as a substitute teacher in public school for two years.
I am an educator for Lewis County Juvenile Services’ “Coordination of Services” program.

Details
If I feel like a student is working, I charge very little since it is a partnership. If a student is not working, then I might as well get paid a lot since it is otherwise a waste of my time. So my rate varies by how motivated a student is to work.
Ultimately, the family and I would have to make an arrangement.
