About Rachell
My services stand out because there hasn't been anything more fulfilling to me than watching someone have an 'Ah ha' moment. It's the small spark that flickers in their eye and a smile grows on their face. I take pride in being able to help anyone reach that point where something so impossible before becomes natural.
I have been working with college aged students for about two years now as a supplemental instructor. This has given me a new confidence in helping students understand difficult topics.
I enjoy working with a student to a common goal. I want them to success as much as they would like to and being a part of that process is an honor. I love being there when they had excepted to get a decent grade, but we worked hard to get a great grade.
I will be graduating at the end of April 2018 with an associate degree in Business Management. The classes I have taken have taught me many different ways to manage employees, but the same concepts relate to managing relationships. I have also been working two years as a supplemental instuctor. In this role, I have already taken the class I will be leading. I continue to sit in the class and then before or after class I will lead a study group for the students who are struggling. The sessions vary from having 1 - 5 students, so I am very versatile when it comes to different students' speeds.

I have a very hands on approach. I like working examples with students or relating the problem we are trying to answer to something they enjoy. I feel this way it sticks out in their mind a little more than just reading the book's examples.
I have worked primarily with college aged students, but I am not opposed to working with younger students. I pride myself on having quite a bit of patience and understanding.
