About Kristina
I have experience teaching and tutoring all age groups (K-College). I am flexible and build relationships quickly, so students are comfortable and more open to working toward goals. I have been teaching for 21 years and proficient have a vast knowledge tech tools and platforms to increase motivation, learning, and fun when it comes to education. Don't be fooled- I also have an arsenal of hands-on materials and person to person techniques and activities that help!

My calling is helping others and learning, not to mention emphasizing the building of solid relationships that open the door to maximizing learning and trust. This has to happen in order to open up student's minds. I love to see ah-ha moments and growth in his/her knowledge and confidence. My ways are not always conventional;in fact, they are sometimes silly, but they are without a doubt,and most importantly, realistic and effective.
I am K-12 certified in Language Arts, French, and Reading. I have been teaching for over twenty years at various levels. I work with level 1-5 ENL students as well.

I typically get to know my new student by having a conversation to make them feel more comfortable. I like meeting in a casual setting like a coffee shop because there is a bit of background noise, but not too much to be distracting. I also have the student take a preliminary assessment to gauge their skill level and needs.

She’s not boring but she forget everything that be pissing me off 🙂🙂
She makes learning fun, it’s not just paperwork , we get to play games while still learning our lesson.
Mrs. Miller is a well known polite mannered person! She has an outgoing personality shows sogns of encouragement. Miller continues to make positive contributions in order to help me out.
