About Stephen
I am an experienced, dedicated English teacher with over 40 years of teaching. I have taught at private schools, charter schools, public schools, and international schools both in the US and in Europe. I am very familiar with the International Baccalaureate programme as well as the American high school system, including AP. My doctorate is in English literature, but I also specialize in general essay wriitng and in writing research papers.
I love teaching English because literature opens our world to other cultures, attitudes, and ideas. Communication is an essential quality for all and knowing how to express oneself articulately on paper and orally is absolutely necessary in today's world.
