The process I use to engage students is to acertain their goals and expectations from the tutoring experience.
Next we work together to develop a plan along with other relevant parties ( parent or guardian).
We work the plan together
We monitor how things are going and what needs to be changed along the way to increase successful outcomes.
Payment is respectfully expected at the end of each session.
