About Katherine
I am a returned Peace Corps Volunteer, having worked with youth in Thailand teaching critical thinking skills, communication skills, life skills, and English. I have a BA in Sociology, and was the recipient of a first-year writing award during my college career. I was published regularly in Peace Corps Thailand's online magazine, and worked as an editor for that publication as well. I also completed an honors thesis as a part of my undergraduate degree.
I am hardworking, enthusiastic, and very experienced with kids, and look forward to helping students with their homework, writing, and education during this period where many people are shifting to online education.
I worked as a nanny, a college advisor, and most recently, a youth development coordinator & educator for children and youth aged 6 to 15 years old.

My typical process is to have an initial meeting to discuss the students expectations, needs, and the expected length of tutoring sessions. We will schedule our regular sessions after that first meeting, and agree on the best communication methods, as well as pricing.
