About Christine
I'm Christine, and I graduated college in 2014, with a 3.8 GPA from Brown University. Since college, I've been a 7th grade teacher, RTI coordinator, and special education teacher. I work with all ages, so I know how curriculum builds, and help students who are missing concepts, but also those who are eager to get ahead.
I've been working with students in art and ELA for 7 years. I love to help students find their own passions and engage in meaningful learning. I have done extensive test preparation with students on STAAR, ISEE, Duke Tip, SAT, and ACT.
Since 2016, I've been tutoring 8-10 students per year. In my previous role at a local test prep company, I have created student-facing essay workshops, trained college essay staff and provided approval on final drafts, and guided students through the college application process. Former students have gained admission to DUKE, Northeastern, UT Austin, and highly selective BSMD programs

Ms.Chistine was extremely helpful with tutoring my son. We specifically needed support with his upcoming 5th grade STAAR & entering 6th grade ISEE exams, which she provided. She was patient, straightforward, engaging, and kind. My son was able to quickly warm up to her. I really appreciated the strategies she taught him to use during his exams and we saw tremendous growth. (He mastered both exams!) I would most definitely recommend Ms.Christine for your child's tutoring needs.
Christine was an amazing Instructional Coach and RTI Coordinator. She supported students in my classroom who had Emotional Disturbances, Autism, LEP/ESOL, Behavior Disorders, Specialized Intelligences, Honors, and Gifted and Talented.
