About Tia
I am a former 8th grade English Language Arts teacher, and have experience tutoring students ages 6-14. I specialize in individual work and believe students can excel when connected with one-on-one. I believe in student-centered lessons where the student is expected and encouraged to come with questions. I believe that learning is a process, and I have learned, through prior experience, that students learn best with a patient listening ear and frequent opportunities to choose how they learn. I am excited to get to learning!
