About Elizabeth
Current student at Carnegie Mellon University that wishes to become a tutor/teacher as a career. I am very patient and exceptional at explaining things in detail in order to make sure students understand the material thoroughly. I graduated high school with Summa Cum Laude and was a PSAT National Merit Finalist in New York. Additionally, I attended the Manhattan School of Music Precollege for Classical Violin.
I am a current college student that is studying Technical Writing/English/Humanities. I have tutored students in the past while I was in high school.

In order to understand where the student stands in the subject, I ask to see previous assessments and work and analyze how much they understand. If the student wishes to prepare a subject in advance, I have them take a pretest.
I have worked with elementary, middle, and high school students of all subjects. I have also tutored for the PSAT, SAT, and ACT, as I had received a 1570/1600 on my own SAT and was a National Merit Finalist for the PSAT.
